It's in our opinion that Willie Mays is arguably the greatest all-around talent the sport has ever seen, finishing his career with 660 home runs, a .302 AVG, 3283 hits and 1903 RBI. Although it's not apart of the coveted high-number series, Willie's inaugural Topps issue remains woefully under valued when compared to Mantle's and seems poised for tremendous future growth. Offered is one of the highest graded copies we've brokered in our long tenure, held within a PSA 7 holder and fully upholding the NRMT preservation. We love the surfaces on this copy, free of toning as well as excess print and possessing NM-MT or better registration. Free of wax build up on the reverse with 'pack fresh' card stock and four minty corners. A few points better centered and this would absolutely grade higher.
