1968 Topps Test Basketball Oscar Robertson #22 PSA 7 NRMT
PSA Population 1 of 4 - Just Two Graded Higher
Oscar Robertson made an instant impact in the NBA being awarded the '61 NBA Rookie of the Year. He was taken number one overall by the Cincinnati Royals in the '60 NBA draft where he played ten seasons before being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks where he teamed up with second year center, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to win the Bucks first and only Championship. When his career was finished, Oscar ended up being an all-time great with nine NBA First Teams and Two NBA second Teams. He is among the key hall of famers from the exceedingly scarce 22-card '68 Topps Test Basketball set and is seldom seen in PSA 7. In fact, only four have earned the elite assessment with only two grading higher. It's safe to assume that demand for this critically important Robertson issue far exceeds supply. The offered specimen boasts marvellous overall preservation with uniformly NRMT corners, crisp edges and strong card stock. The surfaces are clean with great overall print, clean white borders and precise registration. A couple points better centered and this would grade higher. This card simply never surfaces on the public auction block in any condition. We're elated to offer this spectacular PSA 7 copy to the investment community free of any reserve or restriction. Please see the video highlight for more details on this offering. One of over 22,000 cards, lots and sets up for bid in our 1st Auction of 2021.
