Rare 1950s Investment Piece
It's not every day you see Harmon Killebrew's most desired mainstream rookie card in PSA 9 MINT. In fact, only nineteen exist with just one grading higher; an incredibly small amount which doesn't satisfy overall demand. Killebrew was a prolific power-hitter who at the time of his retirement had the fourth-most home runs in baseball history (573). Harmon is pictured here on his '55 Topps production as a Washington National with a vivid yellow back drop and an image of The Capital in the upper left quadrant. Beautifully framed with undeniable MINT corners and card stock. The borders are clean, the periphery is crisp and the registration is precise. Everything is where it's supposed to be when upholding the lofty assessment. All told, this represents the highest graded example we've had the pleasure of brokering in our long tenure. Not to be over looked. One of over 25,000 cards, lots and sets up for bid in our 11th Auction of 2020. Click on the link above to view the other PWCC auction lots.
