On the market this month is a beautiful, high-grade example of one of Lou Gehrig's most beautiful and under valued 1930s trading cards. The '34 Goudey set really is a tribute to Gehrig's endless talent, featuring him twice within the set and also possessing 'Lou Gehrig Says...' commentary on the reverse of every card. The #37 card is slightly more desired than his #61 example and is also incredibly difficult to locate in PSA 7. In fact, only thirty-three copies have reached the elite assessment throughout PSA's long history; a number which doesn't come close to satisfying the hoards of Gehrig lovers. This beauty possesses uncirculated qualities with four minimally NRMT corners and crisp edges around. The surfaces are beautiful with marvelous print and clarity. Everything is exactly where it's supposed to be when upholding the lofty assessment. It's in our opinion that this card remains criminally under valued and could very well be a $20,000+ card in the future. An important pre-war investment piece which commands attention. One of over 18,000 cards, lots and sets up for bid in our 4th Auction of 2020. Click on the link above to view the other PWCC auction lots.
