Easily among the most popular and important issues produced from all of the 1920s. The 1921 E121 Caramel card carries the elusion of Ruth's coveted rookie card as it features his rookie photo. The Red Sox uniform can still be discerned behind Ruth's follow-through. Offered here is perhaps the finest copy for the grade in the entire marketplace. The offered SGC 2 is exceptional in almost every way boasting NRMT eye appeal upon first glance. Take a look at the centering on this fine-art equivalent; virtually unimprovable. All four corners are expertly preserved with EXMT or better qualities. The surfaces are truly amazing with almost zero product toning present, stunning print and precise registration. A light crease to the extreme lower right quadrant of the card and modest paper loss to the reverse upper right accounts for the some what harsh assessment. As it stands this represents one of the finest values imaginable and comes with our highest recommendation. Please see the video highlight for more details on this offering. One of over 18,000 cards, lots and sets up for bid in our 4th Auction of 2020. Click on the link above to view the other PWCC auction lots.
