Incredible Pre-War Investment Piece - Must See
Easily the finest 1914 Cracker Jack Cobb we’ve brokered in our history and among the highest graded copies to ever be offered publicly. The 1914 issue is far scarcer than the more frequently seen 1915 issue as it was only released in the actual product packaging of Cracker Jacks popcorn to the consumer. Aside from the predictable scarcity, condition also took a back seat for 1914s with packaging damage and product staining plaguing the vast majority of examples. Combined with the Shoeless Joe Jackson the Ty Cobb depictions are easily the most desired from the issue. What makes this 1914 Cobb so astounding is the utter lack of surface staining of any kind. Never do 1914 issues show such fine attributes. A typical centering shift to the right and a faint bit of excess print running vertically are all the keep this card a technical ‘5’ in our opinion. As it sits this is one of the finest pre-war investment pieces we’ve brokered in our history and comes highly recommended. Please see the video highlight for more information on this card.
