Oh boy! If you've been hunting for a high-end '66 Topps Orr rookie, gear up and get ready to compete for this one. What we have here is easily the finest example we can remember brokering in our history and we'd love to see this stand up against any example in higher grade. A glistening copy; not only a headliner to our #11 auction but also represents perhaps the most important rookie card ever issued and actually remains woefully undervalued in our estimation compared to overall importance. A boldly struck copy which features wonderfully strong print, focus, and contrast for the issue. Almost dead centered and well which may be the rarest of all qualities inherent to this blue-chip specimen. The faux-wood edges are chipless, the back is clean, and gloss is thick. Aside from a modest bit of wear to the lower left corner, the rest of this card seems worthy, conservatively of the NM-MT+ assessment. Even still, this card fully outshines virtually all other PSA 8s in the market and technically seems worthy of at least a half grade bump. There simply are not enough to these Orr rookies to go around, and what few copies do surface simply don't often compel investors to treat them as top-level assets. Here we have a world class example and in whole this presents an equally superior investment opportunity, worthy of the finest trading card portfolio. Comes with PWCC's highest recommendation. One of over 16,000 cards, lots, and sets up for bid in our 10th Auction of 2019. Click on the link above to view the other PWCC auction lots.
