Critically Important Investment Piece
Spectacular Babe Ruth offering! Presented here is an extremely attractive, high-grade E120 American Caramel Babe Ruth; the key card from the popular early 20s candy issue. Ruth is pictured here on this iconic issue gently holding a Baseball used for a contest to determine if surf caster could place a weight farther than Ruth could hit a ball. Ruth was the king of self-promotion and never missed an opportunity to acquire the spot-light. The offered PSA 5 ranks among the finest copies in existence with only four having earned the assessment and only five grading higher. The card boasts spectacular attributes throughout and in many ways would look right at home in a EX+/EXMT holder. Virtually dead centered with four pointy corners; an incredibly rare combination of attributes. The card stock is void of wrinkles and the periphery is near pristine. Furthermore, the back surface is incredibly clean with zero toning or paper loss present. Light excess print/dirt build up on the front surface is perhaps all that prevents a higher assessment. We love the investment future on this fine-art equivalent piece as demand far exceeds supply. Babe Ruth is one of the greatest baseball player's of all-time and is credited with establishing the sport as the national pastime. Worthy of the finest portfolio.
