Population 1 of 6 - Important P9 Investment Piece

Among the most important and desired MTG cards from the inaugural Alpha issue, and perhaps the hardest P9 to find in such high-grade. To date, PSA has graded just 59 examples with only six, yes six being awarded the illustrious GEM MINT designation; with a print run of just 1,100 of each rare card being produced, and the vast majority being played/damaged; this number doesn't even come close to satisfying the demand. Known as one of the original moxes, the Mox Emerald is one of the most powerful and important magic cards ever printed. Due to its extreme mana acceleration, this card has been deemed as one of the coveted power nine and has been banned/restricted from all formats. This perfectly preserved masterpiece exhibits pack fresh eye appeal with 50/50 centering and thick card stock. Possesses four keen corners with smooth edges and clean borders around. The surfaces are majestic with tremendous gloss and a rich illustration by Dan Frazier; the original artist of all five Moxes. With magic cards yielding some of the best returns we've seen and as investors continue to realize just how special the MTG brand is, we can safely say that these important and rare examples will continue to soar in value. A fine art equivalent that should be heavily pursued. Comes highly recommended by PWCC. Part of an brilliant run of Magic The Gathering examples on the auction block this month.
