Population 1 of 1 - None Graded Higher

Spectacular Babe Ruth offering! The offered W519-2 PSA 5 represents the highest graded copy in existence and boasts fantastic presentation throughout. Originally issued in strips, these cards are often found with irregular cut borders as they we're typically hand-cut. Only properly cut examples are awarded numerical grades by PSA which accounts for only six out of the thirty-seven total submitted. The offered unnumbered example boasts an attractive blue background with a wonderful drawing of the then first year New York Yankee. As mentioned, the card is neatly cut with uniform EX corners and card stock void of any wrinkles. During this inaugural Yankee season Ruth hit 54 home runs, 135 RBI and batted .376; mind-blowing stats during that era of play. All told, this is a highly desired example of one of Ruth's most iconic strip cards. A superb addition to any Ruth or pre-war investment portfolio. One of over 13,000 cards, lots, and sets up for bid in our 8th Auction of 2019. Click on the link above to view the other PWCC auction lots.
