Pop 1 of 9 - None Higher - Key Post-War Rarity

Offered here is one of the market's greatest rarities and simply never seen with such beautiful card qualities. The 'No Name on Front' Thomas rookie variant remains one of the most valuable post-1980 trading cards and often sits atop the most wanted list for many investors. One of the most speculated error cards ever produced, this massive printing mistake's origin is completely unknown and affects one of the game's biggest stars. Far too rare to ever satisfy the demand, it is guessed that only a few hundred cards were ever printed with the error and even less actually making it into circulation. What we have here is one of the very few confirmed examples which retains virtually pack fresh preservation throughout. Possesses four MINT corners along with superb surfaces and thick card stock. The condition sensitive edges are exceptionally crisp and the borders are clean; a rarer combination for the issue. Shows high-gloss with bright color and impeccable clarity. All told, after nearly 30 years, there is still no hard evidence to prove what may have happened to cause such a valuable error. This is one of those cards that goes beyond its sheer rarity and will forever be a piece of market history. The investment piece offered here is incomparably important to the market and sets a tone from which all others are measured. Comes highly recommended by PWCC.
