Among the most beautiful cards we've ever brokered from the 1940s are represents what we view as the #1 blue chip from the entire decade. This has just returned from SGC, having survived their highly strict present day standards. Simply not enough of these to go around in high grade and the market remains woefully under realized compared to the sheer demand for Jackie Robinson and the inherent attractiveness of this '48 Leaf Production. A glistening copy which outshines any NRMT example we've seen hit the auction block in memory. Conservatively assessed at the EXMT+ level, this card would not be questioned with a NRMT designation by anyone. The print, color, and focus are the best we have ever seen on this issue in our 20 year history. This card really glows. A very subtle centering shift towards the top edge and a smallest of corner touches to the bottom left point are all we can see to keep this from grading an 8 or higher. Impossible to locate a better example for the grade and represents an outright steal compared to the eye appeal. Rates a '3' on our eye appeal scale.
