A truly stunning example of arguably the most important trading card produced from all of the pre-war era. Stark white borders and pack fresh surfaces abound from every angle with three conservatively NRMT+ corners (upper right is EXMT) and a clean reverse. When it comes to high-grade T206s Cobbs, fewer and fewer copies are surfacing these days. In fact, the offered 6.5 is easily the finest example we've brokered in recent times, outshining many other copies we've seen in higher grades. Light wear and enamel loss to the upper right corner is all that keeps this from a 7.5 or 8 candidate in our opinion. A whisker from the PQ designation and rates a '2' on our eye appeal scale. Just an awesome card and comes highly recommended. One of over 16,000 cards, lots and sets up for bid in our 1st Auction of 2019. Click on the link above to view the other PWCC auction lots.
