Ultra High End
Difficult to describe this beautiful and unique '52 Mantle rookie with mere words. A dead centered and glistening example which shows eye appeal in the EXMT+ realm. Pristine print and color abound with flawless registration and four well formed corners. Unclear how PSA arrived at this exceedingly conservative grade. The last high end PSA 4.5 last sold in March of 2014 for $36,500 in a Goodwin & Co auction, and this is easily the most undergraded example we've ever brokered. Very faint corner touches are all that downgrade; a steal for the assigned grade and a wonderful investment piece for anything under the EXMT price tag. Part of a very special and all-together rare offering for our auction house. This set comes from an original collection and virtually every card has just returned from PSA, having survived the grading floor and their unquestionably tough standards. Many cards appear worthy of a full grade (or more) increase on their respective technical assessments. We are proud to present this assembly to the eBay community, free of reserve. Hands down the single finest '52 set we've brokered in our 15 year tenure. One of over 8000 cards, lots, and sets up for bid in our 10th Auction of 2014.
